Norwegian business knowledge and international experience
I have been responsible for operations, employees, customers and financial performance in Norwegian companies. I have also worked in London and on international projects, including a confidential assignment for a major Asian shipbuilding group.
My industry networks cover offshore and subsea, testing and analysis, health and care services, and textile recycling. I combine these relationships with focused research to identify relevant businesses and start commercial discussions.
I combine experience in Norwegian management and business development with work in international environments. This provides a practical foundation for explaining Norwegian working life and clarifying expectations between the Norwegian business and headquarters.
Experience I bring to your project
At Subsea 7, I led strategic and financial projects in an international environment and worked on acquisitions and valuations. I also carried out market analysis and, following the merger with Acergy, facilitated the strategy process for a Norwegian engineering division with approximately 450 engineers.
At Humana, I worked on strategy, business development, operational improvement, acquisitions and valuations. At KPMG, I advised public and private sector clients on strategy, financing and valuation.
As Managing Director of VestfoldLAB, I led operations, finance, people, sales and business development. Together with the team, I modernised the business and increased revenue by approximately 70% from 2021 to 2023. I also took full responsibility for its sale to SGS.
At Norsk Tekstilgjenvinning, I assessed market and business assumptions and developed strategy and business plans. Challenging overly optimistic growth assumptions led to substantial revisions of the plans and industrialisation timetable, aligning investment with realistic market demand and strengthening investment discipline.
Professional qualification
I hold the Norwegian financial analyst qualification Autorisert Finansanalytiker (AFA), combining financial expertise with experience in business leadership and strategy execution.
How I work
I am analytical and direct. I work to understand the situation, challenge assumptions when needed and explain the basis for my recommendations clearly.
I handle the work personally, collaborate with stakeholders, clarify priorities and remain accountable through completion. Assignments range from focused market assessments and valuations to leading the commercial work involved in establishing or acquiring a Norwegian business.
